Tackle twill is often used for athletic lettering and numbering and is found on your favorite professional or collegiate sports teams. Tackle twill fabric is typically laser cut to produce a variety letters, numbers, logos and designs. The edges of the appliqué are sewn down by hand or with an embroidery machine using a zig-zag stitch. At our factory in Suzhou, we have actually weaved and dyed our own polyester twill fabric for many years. So it wasn't that much of a stretch for us to weave and dye our own polyester tackle twill fabric, which can also be used as a background color for embroidered emblems.
