Photo-etching lapel pins is an economical alternative to the die struck process with just as many color options. Before color filling, the lapel pin design is transferred from a film negative by etching with acid into a lighter weight 0.8-mm thick brass, allowing for the reproduction of very fine details. This is a good choice for larger designs or for custom pins with flashing lights inlaid. Cannot be made in 3D cubic because depth is shallow. Need metal lines to separate colors.
